3+1 (by Ilya Mer)

How many canals in first upper premolar could be? One – sometimes, two – usually, three – rare. Four? Are you serious?

Preoperative X-ray. It's obviously that something is missing. At least DB. Tree canal anatomy, okay. Happens ones a year.

But what we see in pulp chamber? Three dots in mesial root. MB is wide - yes it was found and obturated last time. DB - small dot - sealer was pressed in during obturation. What's the dot in between? Canal? Apexlocator says YES it is, but very short. So 3+1 anatomy.

3 and 3+1 canals, BTW now PAL on furca canal (let's call it like this) is seen, isn't it?
